    Default Brake Rewind Tool..

Does anyone know if this rewind tool will work (out of the box) on the rear brakes...

    http://www.justoffbase.co.uk/Disc-Br...r-Sealey-VS024

    or is this adapter needed?..

    http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=518&item=3482

and will the adapter fit on the rewind tool?

Laser do there own tool, you can buy it from halfords but they dont sell the adapter, but you can fill the one that comes with it down so it fits. There is a guy who sells everything you need in one kit on ebay, just do a seaech for Laser rewind tool

    Thanks both.

The Laser Vx rewind kits on Ebay seem to be going for about £35 - £40 delivered, which is a bit too much dosh at the moment. (totally skint!)

Ive spoken to sealey and the tool above does have a 3/8" drive on the bottom, so it should be compatible either on its own (bonus!) or with the adapter. I can get both for £26 delivered, which is a better price than the laser Ebay jobbies, and the sealey rewind tool seems to be a bit more generic too (i.e I could use it on other cars if need be). I will order and keep you posted.
