    Default 314mm Brake Upgrade

    Been looking on lmf and noticed that they have the brake upgrades back in and going for £319 +£15 p+p.

    Are they really worth that kinda money? My brakes are pretty decent, standard vx ones like!

    go and try to buy a kit from vx and you will see the price difference.

    Well worth the upgrade lot better than standard setup

    best upgrade i did to mine then again a lot of us got them from saab at milton keynnes when they had them the other yr

    From the standard 1.9 brakes, it is a VERY worthwhile modification. My old 1.9 Vectra was a different car with the 314's.

    I did think about the 314's for my current 1.9 Signum but went for the VXR 345's instead which at £730 inc VAT is double the money LMF are offering for the 314's.

    But..........................Although the VXR set up is simply awesome, for the driving style I have which is not very hard on brakes, in hindsight, maybe the 314's would have suited my needs better.

    But they do look good though!!!!

    Just in the process of upgrading the rears to 292mm vented now, which will benefit the VXR fronts.

    There was a post on here not long back from LMF saying they weren't going to continue the 314 upgrade as they couldn't get hold of some of the bits.
