    Default Signum - 4 or 5 seats?

I am looking to buy a verctra and have always liked the signum.
Never payed them much attention as i thought they were a 4 seater although i have just read that they are classed as a 5 seater.
Is the middle seat a proper seat or just one suitable for a small child?

I really like the siggy too, but imo the 5th seat is more of an occaisional seat rather than a full time seat, which is why i went for another vectra

I was going to buy a siggy when I went looking at Veccys but the wife said it looked like an old mans car so I didn't. We saw a nice turbo one the other day and she turned round and went "oh thats really nice"

You definately wouldn't want to travel to far sitting on the middle seat in the back of a Siggy. But other that they rule. I have a 2.0T and love it. The best car i've had.

as stated the 5th seat is very occaisional - you would never get a car/booster seat to balance on it -

but with the travel assistant in place makes a formidable version of the Berlin wall to keep warring children separated

and i love my 2.0T signum as well

Sounds like you boys need to get Your Signums converted to 5 seats then, like mine:

I love my siggy, and you can use the middle seat but its just not very comfortable, however the two proper rear seats are great as they recline and slide forward giving you more load space in the boot which is a good thing as the boot isn't massive, If you don't need the middle seat very often then a siggy is a great buy as they have loads of kit for the money, I have a design model which comes with the Vectra sri front and suspension but it also has sat nav with colour screen, half leather seats, auto lights, auto wipers and auto dipping mirrors.

I got a lot of stick off people on here before for saying it but I think the vectra rear sit is cronically uncomfortable and any who says otherwise hasn't sat it it long enough. I went to skegness in the middle back (which is three hours for us) and my back killed. The side ones aren't much better imo...

List of cars I know to have better rear seats?
Renault senic, clio and laguna, Ford focus (old and new), ford festa, vauxhall frontera, vauxhall agila, vauxhall corsa (C & D) on could go on.....

Noone else seems to find it bad but myself and a few others whove been in the back of mine agree....
