Hi all.
Im new to the site and looking to buy a Vectra SRI CDTI 150 face lift model but have noticed the figures are less than the pre-face lift model.
Power and torque is the same but 0-60 is a second less?
Anyone know why this is?
Cheers

I thought everone knew pre-facelifts are faster!
It cos during the period of time between the pre-facelift and the facelift coming out the test driver put on a lil bit of weight.
Must be in the ECU, as they "feel" a bit held back IMO (the f/l).
Why would they only be in estates and autos?
If its ecu change that causes the lower performance figures would a remap sort it out.
I will be re-mapping the car i eventually buy anyway.

it will all be down to euro emissions and the manufacturers trying to meet and surpass these to entice lease companies into taking them
the face lifts produce .05g/km less than the preface lifts and can do 2.0 mpg better on the fuel - this all means the car will inevitably be slower - but a remap should resolve most of these issues
and on a lighter note - the preface lists are lower insurance groups as well ?
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
Well i have just found a 54 plate sri cdti 150 for under £5000 with 59,000 miles on it so watch this space.
Got £5800 to spend so will be re-mapping it asap
Any advice on mapping etc will be appreciated and any other topics i need to know before becoming an owner!
