    Default Rear shocks Urgent

Basically i was running round on a snapped rear right spring for a while and when i realised i replaced all 4 with eibach springs.

Now my rear right shock absorber is leaking. I was going to buy 2 of the bilsten b4's from euro car parts, but was advised by the mechanic that was going to fit them that they would be no good as they are for a standard car not the sri so i would need the lowered shocks?

Is this true or will the b4's be alright? As i will still have the normal shocks on the front.

I wanna know so i can get the asap ready for my long drive on friday.

    Cheers in advance

Even with the lowered shocks on the front, will it make any difference?

Don't know if photo worked but should show a new B4 next to a old sri rear shock and a new Eibach spring and old sri rear spring. The B4 is allready a uprated shock and I have been using them on my sri for 6 months and ride is much better plus don't pay someone to replace rear shocks as this is one of the most simple diy jobs you can do as only 2 bolts , one in the arce and one at the bottom, takes longer to jake up and take wheel off than to fit new shocks.

You can lower a standard Vectra using eibachs on the standard shocks anyway so b4's will be fine on an sri, i've not done it yet but when the time comes i'll be fitting b4's

B4's are fine on SRi springs, and on slightly lower ones also, but on extra low springs they are too long and hit the bump stops, this is where the B6's come into play.

hmm... I just spoke to my guy and he said that if i got the b4's i should change all 4? Or would just changing the rear 2 be okay? Eibach -30mm is only slightly lower than sri so they should be okay shouldnt they?

B4's should be fine with your Eibach mate. And you'll be fine running just the rears, its not like the Vec needs balance like an F1 car LOL
