    Default rear noise

    my rear of the car makes a noise like the boot is left open well locked but not shut, only happens on speed humps anybody had this? it never use to do it but the past 2 weeks its started to do it, (the arb bushes are new) ive also noticed its never since i got the jack out of the boot and all that,

    Make sure the rear seat is locked into place sometimes the catches unclip at the top of the seat on both sides.

    i did have the seats unlocked about 2 weeks ago im sure i locked them back into place tho ill give it a check tho

    if not ill put some bubble rap down where the jack and spacer go, to see if that helps,

    If none of the above cures it mate, try some vaseline on the the V-groove of the catch in the hatch and where it meets on the boot itself, also on the rubber height adjusters, this cured mine amazingly enough!!

    yea but the boot shuts secure, can it still make the noise even when shut secure? and how do i adjust the catch?

    Yeah it shuts bu its no getting held tightly in place as it should, if you remove the black plastic cover where the catch is and slacken the catch bolts. Let the catch go down as far as possible and then re-tighten
