DTI diesel pump replacement ?

if i buy a second hand diesel pump for my 2.2 DTI do i need it tech2'd
is the pump of a 2.0 DTI suitable for my car

No don't do it mate! The pumps can only be programmed once, gonna have to be a new one i'm affraid if yours is knackered

We have terrible diesel here in Slovenia, but I never heard of a DTi fuel pump failing. Only the electronic control of the pump fails because of vibrations.

hi you can use a secound hand pump as long as you get the imobilizer code with so it can be programmed into your car as this is wot i had to do when my failed mate.

If you find one that Has the same bosch numbers, "exactly" then it won't need programming, i have just done ours, i was lucky to find one that matched.
