    Default interior fan only works on the highest setting

    my interior heating fan only blows when it is on the highest setting (4) any other setting it does naff all. any one any idea if this is a easy fix or what it may be i.e is it common

    common fault is the resistor quick release under glove box right under the dash

    should be able to diy i'd think as easy fit buy one then have a good look first but you sould be ok

    Fixed mine last week, problem was caused by the drain being blocked by the pollen filter must have been 5cm of water in there. In the guide is says not to solder the fuse back on the resistor pack, but I did should be ok if your quick.

    Only problem I have now is the noise the fan makes as it goes around, so will probably end up having to replace it at some point.

    Yeah i had the resistor go on my veccy c, very easy to replace, took me about 15 mins. The motor was noisy on mine when i replaced the resistor, i removed the pollen filter and then sprayed some wd40 into the fan, there is a slight smell for a few days but does wear off and ive had no noise since.
