Just took my car out of the drive, first time it's moved in 2 week, there's a stretch of water about a car length, when parked back in the original spot it was in and it starts bang in the centre of the car, any ideas??

i would have thought the length of water was probably condensation from the rear exhusts either blown out or dribbled out when moving off for the first time from the back box
can you expand on the "bang" was it on moving off - handbrake siezed on ??? sticky brakes ??
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
AHH I REREAD
and all is clear
the leak starts bang in the centre when you repark over where you where...... still think its the condensation from the exhausts as its been wet and the cars been standing

Sorry I didn't word that right, there was no bang but the start of it is literally in line with the arm rest if you know what I mean, right inthe middle of the car, seemed abit too much for just abit of condensation, no warning lights came on though either
Might be water from the Aircon condensate drain, mine does a similar thing.
Phil
Take the car for a drive with the AC on, park up and look underneath ( best put the car in gear )and you'll see the drips from the AC drain.
Muggy weather produces loads

Take a finger sample of the liquid and have a taste (don't swallow)
If it is fresh water then it may be condensation or excess from the air con, either monitor or ignore
If it is salty or bitter then it may be coolant and needs further investigation
Cheers guys, much appreciated
