Default Rear springs, Standard or lowered???

Hello, was wondering if someone could help as im not sure what to buy for my 55 plate SRI, One of my rear springs has gone and when ive tried ordering a new pair ive run into a problem, The SRI is factory lowered by 15mm compared to a normal vectra so when i order springs do i order lowered ones or do i order standard for my model? I really hope someone can help as ive looked through other threads and some people have had alot of problems with getting the correct springs.

Any help would be great, Many thanks,

as long as there standard one's for 'your' car are for the sri they should be correct, can they not call the manufacturer to make sure as they might say the lowered one's are for the sri as it has sports suspension....

be carefull........motor factors only carry one type of spring for the vectra and it will be no good on your sri!
krapfit replaced my rear spring on mine as it failed mot on broken.
steering is now out- it pulls and handles like a cannoo.......they have checked tracking ,suspension and say nothing is wrong, altho admit it handles like crap.
they have suggested i have other side replaced as it will be weaker- I have since spoken to motor factors and they said they don't sell the springs for the lowered sports chassis,

my thoughts - buy a set of aftermarket springs, don't waste your cash,
and vx will only sell in pairs @ £170 plus vat

The sport suspension is 20 mm lower than standard, but this is before you mount them on the car! When mounted, since the springs for Vectra with sport chassis is thicker and stiffer than standard, the height will be almost the same when mounted.
You can probably use both springs, wether you prefer the (too?) soft standard springs, or the stiffer sports
