After removing my bumper overiders Im left with 4 holes in my front bumper I ve got a number of a bumper and wheel specilaist off a mate but he has never used him,
Over the phone he has quoted me £50 to fill and blend in the bumper....
It sounds cheap and I dont want it cocking up
has anyone used somone like this before as I thought I would have to have the full bumper repainted?

Over riders? on a vectra? even so £50 is toooooo cheap to paint a bumper! must be a catch somewhere would cost you £50++ in spray cans and filler if you did it yourself!.

You cant just fill a hole and paint it, you will have to paint the complete bumper, or it will look pants!

I would say that is a good price as it isnt a big job. I have just been charged £140 to paint a Clio bonnet and wing from one colour to red, and the paint job was cr&p and I have had to give it all a serious going over with my polisher / mop and various compounds. Wish I did it myself now
Anyway matey hope all goes well

The holes are no doubt in the wrong place but I'd be tempted to open them up & fit some parking sensors.

It'd be a "smart" repair - they wouldn't respray the whole bumper, just the damaged areas.

Yeah i guessed that much, i would be interested how they intend to "fill" those holes without removing the bumper for rear access....and i dont care how "smart" it is, it will stand out a mile on a mettalic silver.
