2003 sxi clutch pedal return spring

Recently my clutch pedal has become quite weak on the return motion, also my cruise has become alittle un-reliable.

I have read that they were recalled to replaced with stronger one's.
My motor has obviously not been done by the previous owners. So l wish do do the job myself, has any of you guys or gals on this site replaced them as I want to do it myself as l enjoy to repair things and increase my knowledge of my vectra.

Any positive and practical advise will be gratefully received.

It's a very simple job indeed, just get a new spring from your local dealers and it fits in seconds up near the top of the pedal.

Do all manual models have the same clutch return spring?Think mine needs done to do you know how much they are from vx?

all manuals are the same and need it. the pedal box spring snapps and this new one fits on the pedal to the pedal box. just need to remove the upper kick pannel we did 100's of them at vx
