    Question 225/40/18 on SRi

Right, got some wheels with 225/45/18 tyres on but 2 need replacing. Seeing as these are getting good reviews and they are a good price was thinking of getting them as the good 225/45 are Bridgestones and by god are they noisey!!! So I may sell them 2 on anyway. I know 235/40 are a better size but just as the 225/40 profile are a good price are they ok to run? I know the speedo will be out slightly but other than that they ok?

Just fitted 4 of them yesterday to my motor funnily enough!

Been running 225/40/18's for the last 18 months with no probs at all.

Get them from HERE too as these are by far the cheapest with fast delivery. Believe me, i know. Trawled numerous websites for days and these always came out the cheapest.

    Hope this helps,

    Paul.

How much did it cost you to get them fitted? The ebay ones include fitting but plus balancing, which is a con really as you wouldnt just fit new tyres!

I got 4 235/40/18 Vredestein tyres delivered for jsut over 400 squid from camskill, can't argue with the service. Fitting at a local tyre place was 12 quid a tyre, but be aware most big name places like kwik fit won't fit tyres you haven't bought from them...

Cheers for that, I may just go for the 40's then as they bout £300 fitted, on a budget sadly!

Debating whether to sell my SRi wheels in singles or as a set yet, need to see which would fetch more!

My local tyre place charged me £10 per wheel plus VAT. £69 all in.
