    Default Changing the facelift grill

Another ebay purchase, taken a gamble & hopefully my new style griffin badge will be arriving in the next few days. Item description didnt say much but asked questions & im pretty sure its the one from the look of it & the rough size i was given (very rough if im right). Anyway, the price ive paid for it was worth the gamble if im correct compared to the price of a complete Insignia grill. If im wrong im wrong, we shall see

    Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=300360419760

So if correct my Opel grill will be going on.

Whats the best way to swap the grills over? I think i read someone did a swap without removing the bumper, at the cost of a few clips? Or should the bumper come off?

Just curious what you guys did, or recommend

you will have to remove the whole bumper, as its clipped in from both sides

the grill just pulls out of place, its held in by clips. just pull one side gently and wiggle it and it'll come loose very easily. iv got mine out at moment for painting. i havnt taken the badge off though as its held in by many small clips and i didnt want to break them. do you know how you r new one fits on?

its supposed to be via locatin pins on the back. but whether there there or not it will be glued on the new grill anyway to stop it bein robbed

Right finally started to sort my act out

Ive de-vauxhall'd the rear today, therefore my new style griffin could now go on to match the grill which im planning on fitting tomorrow!!

However, not sure on the idea of sticking it on with the double sided tape anymore as i can see it not lasting very long. So probably just going to leave it de-badged for the time being

But yes the grill should be on tomorrow. I'll get pics up once im done
