confused Can you settle these questions with VX dealer please

I thought I'd find out a few things about my Vec Estate
So, phone the local VX dealer....
    I have a prefacelift 2005 1.9 120 Diesel SXi estate btw.

    (1) Does it have a DMF?
    (2) Does it have a DPF?

Deafening silence from my local VX people.
Do you guys happen to know?
    Cheers
    John

There is a thread somewhere about Vecs with DPF`s and you can tell from a letter from the chassis number which is on the drivers door frame but for the life of me i cant remember which one it was

Estate 1.9? Probably has a dpf. You could look under the car at the exhaust as the dpf will look like a cat but have a few pipes going to it.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I thought it was estates and Auto's that had DPF's..?

But as said, it will have a DMF.

    Thanks guys.
I have the .50 in the drivers door VIN so mine has a DPF
I was rather hoping that I'd avoid that and the DMF...
    Ha..not on your nelly
I'll pass this on the EH Diet
    Cheers

All Signums and Vectra Estates and Autos with the 1.9 or 3.0 CDTI engines have a DPF.
