Electrics haywire!

Vectra 06 cdi. Wipers only work on full speed(all other modes slowly deteriorated). Headlights stay on dipped beam. Consul displays"Brake lights" although all lights ok. Bulb warn fail lights stays on although all bulbs ok. Any suggestions appreciated (apart from bin it!!)

The clever canbus network uses the lower rear tail light bulbs as a tail/brake light should the upper tail/brake light fail.

Double check that the upper of the two tail light bulbs is still ok.

Many thanks Big Dave. Cured brake and dip beam problem merely by new brake light bulb.
Good idea and definately one to remember. Just have to check all fuses now for top speed only wiper operation!!!
