    Default police did good...

was layed in bed yesterday afternoon feeling like death warmed up when i got a call from the wife she was ranting and carrying on alarmingly!!!
it turns out that she was sat in her car in morrisons car park when the car next to her attemped to leave its parking bay next to hers, but half way out he turned too quick and the osf corner of his car hit her nsr door then her rear wing then her bumper!!! she got out, the guy looked at her then drove off!!! WTF. she got back in her car and decided to chase the said car( w-reg black golf gti) but she lost it after it went through a red light
i rang the police and explained what had happen and gave them the details of the car and they said they would be incontact(yeah right)
but 10 minutes later my phone rang it was the police......they had located the other car at its home address nearby!! now it turns out the guy had been drinking and had no insurance he got arrested and has been charged with drink driving, having no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident,
the wife is insured with direct line who sort out bumps with uninsured drivers. her car will be collected by them this morning.
    what a day!!!

Good job she was in the car else he'd have gotten away scot free! The owners of car parks never seem to be willing to hand over CCTV footage of such incidents.
