Clock adjust

Hello,

I thought that the clock on the display automatically changes when the clocks go back/forward. I drove about 50 miles yesterday but it didn't change.

I have a vectra sri cdti with cd30 installed.

How do i manually adjust the time?

Did you have it tuned to one of the national radio stations (Radio 1, 2, 3, or 4)?

If listening to a CD or commerical station it generally won't update itself as it relies on the RDS signal and some of the commercial stations are a bit slow in updating the clock signal.

Also, the setting needs to be switched on, which will be buried in the menus somewhere.

haha... i had this with mine yesterday it didn't update (cd70 navi) so i manually changed it... 10 mins later it had changed back lol... that'l teach me to read the hand book & check the settings lol...

Well it was a local FM station i was listening too.

I'll try listening to Radio 1 on the way home from work.

If it doesn't work, how do you manually adjust it?

I've had the same prob (CDC40 Opera in mine), i thought i was going mad, changed it myself then it changed later on. I was just listening to CD's when i was out but i thought it would update no matter what you were listening too?

Yip same problem, mines changed automatically, but stopped the car for 10min jumped back in and it reverted then never updated. I manually changed it and its been fine.

Mine was the same only changed itself on the way back from work today lol

i've changed mine manually now, i'm sure it changed yesterday then changed back.

My car is playing tricks on me.

Does anyone know if you can you change the time with an aftermarket HU in?

Im not sure if you can, i had to go into settings in the actual HU to change it.

I read somewhere that you may have to install your old HU to change it.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
