Tyre wear!!!!!

Following on from this thread,i've finally got to the bottom of the problem,took it back to the garage i originally used and explained that i was still getting bad tyre wear on the N/S/R tyre,you could actually see the deflection and used my spirit level on my iphone and it was almost a degree out,they fitted the gauges and confirmed what i already knew,they adjusted every possible adjustment until it was spot on,i was very impressed and now the wheels sit the same both side's,now i just need to get some decent tyres as the fullruns i fitted are a bit twitchy and are wearing a very quick,looking at getting some Conti's or Toyo's,watch this space...........

Nice one mate,aye fullruns are a little slidey lol.. i have nankangs on the 20;s and feels suprisingly good(rear) michelins front..once i have done a few other bits mines going in for full 4 wheel geo

Prob best to wait for some winter ish tyres aint it mate considering where you live etc etc??

had a simar prob with my car glen, geometry out and it's eaten front inner edges of my dunlop's....running cheapo's at the min but have got 4 bargain conti sport 2's on the way for when its sorted this wkend hopeully..

What happened to the Rainsports ?

Thing is mine is on eibachs and i've been meaning to get the car aligned but don't know if i'll bother. I fitted them in january with two brand new michelins and all are wearing perfect after 6k

rainsport's were on my 17's, (now fitted to my bro's saab and still going well) i upgraded to 18'' irmscher alloy's a while ago and the conti's are just to good to miss, will be looking at RAINSPORT'S when these conti's are ready for rplacement though as they are a totaly superb tyre
