    are you happy with the look of the car?
    as in are you looking at other cosmetic changes or just the wheels?

    dtis as far as I've been told are pretty poop engines for tuning, best off sticking to cosmetic mods.

    Whoever told you that was talking a load of poop. The dti is quite a good engine, and with mods such as a panel filter (or closed induction) a free flowing exhaust then possibly moving to a tuning box you get some good gains. Obviously not as good as the cdti but they are a completly different idea altogether.

    It's like trying to compare a carb'd engine to multipoint injection.

    The most serious thing that can happen to the dti is the fuel pump blowing but that is very rare and can happen without mods done. The cdti's have DMF,swirl flap egr probs etc and they are alot more common than DTi pumps blowing
