Default How do you know when to change brake discs

How deep can the wear marks be? I remember reading somewhere that at 3mm wear they should be changed?

Each disk has a given minimum thickness stated by the disk manufacturer. Plus, if the disk has a lip on the edge, or is scored or grooved, then it will need changing even if it hasn't yet reached the minimum thickness.

I'd just change it anyway regardless mate - it's not that much extra and you probably wouldn't have to do it again while you owned the car...
