Has anyone done this? what is involved? wings, bumper, bonnet, lights?

Does the slam panel need changed over and are the wiring connectors the same?

Theres a few of us that have done it. Not really much to it. Bumper, bonnet, wings, bumper guides, new bonnet stay, headlamps etc...

The front panel doesnt need to be changed, just new holes for the headlamp mounts I believe. But when I did mine, I did change the panel.

Is the front panel bolted or welded?

Whats the bonnet stay? gas strut?

The gas strut went on the facelift, the bonnet is aluminium and bends with the gas strut, so it went back to a manual stick in the hole job. The front panel is spot welded in I think about 8-10 places, just drill them out. There are the bolt mounts too, cant remember how many. You'll also need new bumper guides and 2x L shaped mounts that attach to the new front panel to mount the bottom of the facelift headlamps.

I have done this too mate, like n_hudson said you can re-use the prefacelift front panel all you will need to do is drill holes for the grille and headlamps, front panel is held on with bolts and a few spot welds

The bumper guides are totally different they "pull" the bumper in to lock it in place at the sides, under the wheel arch. They are also curved and are held on with rivets.
