Did anyone watch Question Time last night, some of you will know that it was a little controversal due to having the leader of the BNP Nick Griffin on the show.
I think the show with its 85% multi cultural audience was highly biased, I did feel however that Mr.Griffin came across quite well considering the pressure and bating which he received from all sides including the other panelists.
Personally, although I dont agree with many of BNP's policies, I do think he echo's the concerns that many of the population have due to the current and previous governments failures to control immigration, and protect jobs etc. The UK is a small Island, anyone with any commonsense can see that its already overpopulated for its small size, and to allow its population to increase further is totally stupid.
After heavy critism and bating from Jack Straw, who's own family is of german jewish decent on his mothers side, it was unfortunate that Mr Griffin delivered a below the belt knockout punch to Jack Straw by quoting something that Mr. Straw had recently revealed while visiting a prison, that his own father had been imprisoned during WW2 for refusing to fight the germans, IOW he was a conscientious objector during the war, while Nick Griffins own father had been a RAF fighter pilot.
Its the failure of the mainstream parties which is causing BNP's vote to rise, people in this country want change, hopefully the tories will do better.
People can no longer make a statement or comment with any reference to immigration or religions without being assumed to be a racist or a bigot.
Any comments or discussion on this subject is totally taboo and severly frowned upon by PC people in power. Therefore how can this be a democratic country when its people are frightened to approach or even mention anything that may be interpreted as slightly racist or make any comment about immigrant growth without being criticised.
A illustration of the above statement will occur very quickly here on this forum, although it's posted in a off topic section, because the topic may encourage words like racism and immigration, admin or one of the moderators will quickly delete, or close it. Which illustrates my point exactly.
