Fault code issue?

Hi guys,

Ive just had a new power steering pump fitted on my Vectra 2.2 DTI SRI 53 plate, it all works fine, but now has a steering wheel light on the dash.
The garage (not vauxhall) say its just the fault that needs clearing? does anyone know how to do this without taking it to vauxhall? I really dont want to pay to have a light switched off after paying the hefty ammount for the pump and fitting!! Im in Northampton if anyone can help out with clearing it!

Whoever fitted it should have cleared it, however, if its not a constant/current fault then take the connections off the battery for half hour. That should clear it if the fault has gone ie. an old fault.
