So i hit someone in the back last week a friend and he had a tow bar so his car was fine but my radiator is bust and the insurance company have sent it to just car clinic and im nervs because the car isnt stanard and the insurance campany think its standard, so the bits that arent stanadr are sri rear bumper sri sideskirts and some mud flaps oh and chrome door strips so hopefully they will still pay out fingers crossed.

Irrespective of the non-standard parts, isn't it worth subbing the cost for that job yourself, instead of having a claim on your insurance..?

Dont be nervous. To late for that, already happened. Just let it unfold now. I always advise to inform insurance company of any alterations (in writing). Anyone can be involved in an accident no matter how good a driver they perceive themselves to be. Good luck, you will probs be ok.

thanks guys it will bw ok. no the guy that a work with had a tow bar and its bent that back and up into the boot or something and hes claiming off me i was going to do it my self but then he told im claiming off you but it doesnt matter he wasnt being very nice about it and now he doesnt have a job so thats karma for you.

Just Car clinic did my car, It looked perfect on collection, but a year down the line and there paint is pealing off to reveal totally unprepared paint underneath. All they did when they blended the wing in was spray over the top, no keying of the surface at all.
