Full size Spare wheel??

Hi everyone.

I was thinking about putting a full size spare wheel in the boot of my Estate instead of the space saver but after a rough measure up it doesn`t look like it would fit height wise, Was this an option from Vauxhall to have a full size spare or has anyone else done this ??

iv got full size spare in mine but as you found out it sticks up a bit

i just meant the bit about it sticking up is the estate spare in a different place ?

i tried putting the wheel in at lunchtime ( 215 55 16) it does fit but sticks up a fair bit,not sure whether i could live with that or not,i will have another try as i would prefer a full spare wheel.

in my hatch back i took out the black plastic bit at the bottom the the tyre fitted no probs

No you can't fit a full size spare in the estate. The boot floor will be around 3" high. Shame really, even with the plastic bit removed.

I believe the Estate well is not as deep as the hatchback

yes i took the black plastic retainer out too ,and my 19" spare just sits a little proud
