    Default vosa patrol

    Hi, just wondering if Vosa vehicles can clock you for speeding, The reason I ask is cause i just went past one doing about 78 on a dual carriageway???

    Nope, definitely not.

    Slow down though and you won't have to worry.

    EDIT: And 78 is unlikely to get you stopped - although not guaranteed! lol

    ...although it is funny watching the looks on people's faces when there's queues of traffic behind them refusing to overtake, and you cruise past at 71.....

    Because they have the authority to stop traffic (particularly targetting goods vehicles) for the purposes of roadside safety checks. It used to be the case that they would have a designated area, and the Police would wave you in, but VOSA now have their own vehicles and undertake Police training on how to safely stop/escort vehicles, so freeing up the traffic police to get on with what they do

    I can calmly go and change my underwear now then.

    lol - Go for it.

    I see them here all the time on my way back and forth work, strangely even when im on nights so they are around more than you think. As already stated, no speed cam. If they could, I would be complaining as one which was with me for about 20 miles kept overtaking and slowing as what happens when you have cruise and they dont, but the point was it was doing at least 80mph for a few miles..... Would not be on lol
