    Default Siggy Rear Window

    Hiya,

Just had my rear window replaced after the supermarket I bought it from scraped off most of the heated rear window elements removing a dealer sticker.

When I picked it up, there was no rubber seal under the window. It looks as if there was one there and it looks as if there should be one there, but the guy that fitted it said that there wasn't one in the kit he got even though it's genuine GM.

So, should it have a seal at the base of the rear window. If it should then I'll take it back for them to sort out, but if not, then cool.

What do you mean by seal? You got a pic of what you've got (or not) at the moment. I can soon tell you if it's missing something.

No batteries in the camera as usual, so I'll get a pic tomorrow. At the moment, there's a gap between the bottom of the glass of the rear window and the tailgate. I seem to remember it was filled with rubber before...

If you mean on the exterior, then yes. There is definitely a strip of rubber/spongey stuff between the bottom of the glass and the tailgate.

Cheers guys, I'll get onto them tomorrow.

Why is it so hard to get anything done properly?
