    Default Under Pressure....

Well, after 12 months of pondering, I decided to get a snowfoam lance and snow foam concentrate from AutoBrite Direct.

Spoke with Mark this afternoon and got a good deal. Pleasure dealing with him.

After reading through the many threads on here with people not happy with Karcher Pressure Washers, I decided to let AutoBrite guide me on a low use car pressure washer. It was suggested I get a Silverline 2500W (product Code 748934)

So what do I know about pressure washers? nothing... so happy for the advice and bought one today... with snow foam lance and 5 litres of snow foam from AutoBrite.

I just hope it stays more reliable than the Karcher ones I hear about...

This is what the Silverline website say about the washer...

Very powerful high perfomance pressure washer with on board tool storage and quick rewind hose reel mounted on a sturdy frame. 2500W motor with automatic control system and pressure gauge maintians a 130 bar working pressure, maximum pressure 195 bar. 6.5

Looks good, personally i have not had a problem with my Karcher. This looks like a quality bit of kit and i'd be interested to hear a review of it once you've put it through its paces. Can't beat a bit of snow foaming!

Well, it says in the manual that its a 5 metre hose.. does that now mean it wont do the job properly?

EDIT: Typical !!... the hose is just never long enough....

No mate it just means you may have to move the PW round the car with you a little, but only by a metre or two. I'd be interested in what you think of the silverline as I have a few of there tools and my Karcher is dead, so on the look out for a new one.

    Is silverline good quality stuff.
I am considering a polisher from them at the mo.
Wont buy one till after ED and PHIL do the first proper clean and polish the cars had though.
Hopefully i might learn a thing or two from them.

Oh ok... I've just spoken with Mark and I can extend the hose quite cheaply, so will be doing that. Apparently they do a 8 metre hose as well.. So easily solved. One in the post to me tomorrow..

Ok Rushy no problem, once I get it all up and running will let you know how I get on. However, I havent really used a jet washer on my cars before, so dont really know what to compare it to... but I'll try and be logical in my feedback
