Getting a rebate on road tax

Do I need to take the logbook with me? Or just the tax disc?

you should return the tax disc - for every complete month left you should recieve a rebate

The form is just your details, vehicle details, and the Tax Disc
I usually just photocopy the form, with the Tax Disc attached (as proof that I sent it completed), and send it First Class Recorded

Sadly you only get each complete month, which is pain when you remove a Tax Disc in the first week!
However, payments are usually made in two business weeks
