Default Broken Springs, 05 cdti Sri 150 auto, sat nav. 36,000 miles

Both front springs broken on a 05 cdti Sri 150 auto, sat nav. 36,000 miles
Axle weights front 1090 kg back 0985 kg.
I've just ordered a set of Eibach springs Part Number:10-65-007-02-22
Front 1061kg to 1130kg, rear up to 1035kg
Has anyone else fitted Eibach springs with the same axle weights, also did you notice any difference in the car?

The difference will be quite apparent I'd have thought - the eibachs will make the car sit 15mm lower than SRi springs, which you'll notice during cornering.

It seems though that some Vectra's sit differently with this weight of spring on the front - some look the same, some a bit lower and some higher - don't expect it look like its been dropped, but it will handle much, much better.

    It should handle better great!
I thought the springs would lower the ride height by 15mm ( Not a big drop) but I'm more worried that the front might ride high compared to the rear. Has anyone had these springs fitted with the same axle weights ?

    Springs arrived this morning.
Hopefully going to fit them on sat. It'll be nice to get the car back on the road.

Default Do I need to fit plastic sleeve's

Do I need to fit plastic sleeve's that slip over the springs as I'm fitting Eibach springs, or is it only on vauxhall's own springs?

Its best to do it regardless of what springs you have mate.

    Cheers Dan_BlackSRi
I'll get some, and fit them at the same time.
