Out of the two, the second one m8, if you want something that will last you a few years, take my advise and get one tall enough for you to stand up in, you'll really appreciate that feature after a while, lol.

Out of the two the second one you definitely be best
one you can stand up in as GG said becomes very important if your away for more than a couple of days .
A front bit is also very useful for storing stuff keeping it separate from the bedroom and to sit in if it rains.
We invested in an airbed to it just turns on and inflates itself we go camping a lot and it gives that little bit of extra comfort.

you can have my 'old one if you like £40.... its a vango venture 500, still a current model. Big enough for 2 people and masses of clutter. Its in A1 nick, used maybe 6 times. Reason for sale is that i need a small house for when we take the little one.

I prefer the ones with en-suite bathroom, room service and a decent bar these days.

Seriously though, it is nice to get away for a few days. Me and a mate are planning to go out again soon, probably upto the Yorkshire moors

I've seen a couple of these Vangos in aaction in Scotland, they look like they're a bu99er to put up (needed 2 people). But, when they were up they looked great and easily withstood some horrendous weather. I was very tempted to get one myself, in fact the one you've got up for grabs I think it was

Andy - Could be interested in that myself if Graeme doesn't. Is it smell-free? Not damp or anything at all?

lol, yes its smell free. Not damp, its stored in the house as i dont have a garage currently. It does need 2 people to put up really, mainly someone holding one end of the bendy rod while the other fixes the other end in the clip. once the dome is up (2 bendy poles) its a doddle.
