Default Possible self levelling for the Vectra????

I was browsing the other night and saw on the Hella website that they do a universal self levelling kit. I am desperate to get HIDs in my car but the legality issue always stopped me. Anyway I contacted Hella and the nice lady sent me a PDF of the installation instructions. Looks like it might work, it would just be a case of the levelling motors being changeable with the Vectra ones. Does anyone have any pictures of the levelling motor in the Vectra?

Here is the PDF file link

I have asked and I am waiting on the price. If its a good price it might be the answer to alot of prayers, but knowing Hella you might be cheaper just getting a VXR for the lights. We will wait and see

    Well as I said

    Hi Raymond,

As Hella Ltd do not sell direct you would need to contact your local Hella
distributor for prices and to place any order. I can give you RRP prices
but these tend to be completely overinflated compared to what you would
    actually have to pay.

Hmmm, just had a look and not sure if this range is going to be around for
long as some of the parts have already been deleted, including the basic
12v version for passenger cars. The 2 sensor version could be adapted but
it very expensive. So unfortunately it may have been a mute point
    after-all.

    8XX 008 614-011 ( 1 sensor) deleted - was £257.32 RRP
8XX 008 614-031 (2 sensors) for 3.5t - live part but no stock at the
    moment £554.48 RRP
    24v version in stock
    8XX 008 644-001 (add on set) deleted

    Kind regards

Just get some HiDs chucked in your car - as it stands they are fine and will pass an MOT etc no problem - I just don't see why you're waiting as you want them.

Just a heads up the sets have become cheaper.. ive been qouted just under 200€ (not £) for the one sensor set.

but found the extra sensor for another 70€ if the 2 sensor kit was wanted..

Im properly going for the one sensor kit, if VX/Opel dont approve there own selfleveling supension as suffision.
