    Default rear window heater

    my rear window dont seem to de-mist when i press the button the light comes on but it dont de-mist any ideas? i didnt think it was the fues because light still comes on

    Check the 40 amp fuse in position F4. Fuse box in the boot

    yep no fues in F4, i thought if there aint a fuse in the button wouldnt light up?

    The 40A supply fuse is the main supply to the heater, switched by the relay, the switching and control of that relay (including the illumination of the switch) is most likely on another circuit.

    yep all works now had to take fuse out for electric seats (my model dont have it) and all works now,

    Must have been a factory problem. .... my vec was the same. Wasnt until we had to change the stereo fuse that we noticed it and though 'we don't have electric seats??!!?' We always thought it was just that the window heater wasn't the best ��
