As per Admin's post, this is to sort out without naming and shaming - although at least one of you may, or may not, be close to a Cluedo moment.
However, where I thought this was a lost cause and just one to chalk-up to experience, I now feel a little more positive rather than just pee'd off at potentially being shafted.
I have a comprehensive email/pm/text trail; his bank details; mobile number; car reg (remember everyone has to post a pic of their car!). Admin have his details too so my next port of call will be the local police.
Thanks for the cheer up.

ha, you can hear the horde of forum users frantic trawling the threads as we speak
i'm not. none of my biz.
Martin has been very patient with this trade. This is the final chance for it to be settled amicably. Naming the seller at this stage will wreck that. We have made it very clear to the seller what action will follow if the trade is not concluded to the satisfaction of the buyer.
Well hopefully we get a positive resolution to this matter Martin. If not, as already said, we have address details that we can give the Police if they request them - along with the info you have too.
Being the 'glass always half full' kinda guy, I'm hoping that there is a simple explanation for what's happened, or not, to date given his other successful transactions. We shall see.
I am optimistic you will have a good outcome. You have a mine of evidence to back you up. If nothing else, the Police knocking on his door should knock the breath out of him, particularly if he's been trouble free all his life, to now have the Police biting his arrers will not be pleasant for him. Shame eh?
Right. We'll close this thread before someone names the person or even worse names the wrong one. As per the earlier posts this is the final chance for the seller to get this sorted without the matter being taken further.
Update:
The item has now arrived so the trade has been concluded.
