    Default Another 'concern' 1.9CDTi [150]

    Hi
    Antoher thing I've noticed....
When the clutch is pressed, it sounds fine.
But when the clutch pedal is released it sounds like there is some rough idling / grumbling noise. It is noticeably quieter with the clutch peddle pressed in. Is this normal ?

Where did you buy your from..?

No this is not normal, but it very normal for the CDTi 150's

It means the Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) is on its way out mate - £850+ to put right with a new clutch too.

    Don't blame you

I wish I had read this forum for a few months before buying.
I'd know what to look out for then.

Just hope the future buyer hasn't been reading these threads
