    when tesco started doing car ins a few yr back the first 1000 customers that accepted a quote there and then over the phone got theres for a pound as i was one of them

    Not that much of a surprise, it won't be long before someone gets paid for taking out fully comp and getting cashback, with some of the cashbacks exceeding £100 (I had £120 back from AIG the year before last, bought my insurance under £100!)

    I think it's probably easier to do for unmodified cars, or those with few modifications, due to some online quotation systems, but the MSE guidelines are easy to follow and I can vouch for the likes of quidco where I've had £400 in cashback paid into my bank account in the last couple of years.

    might explain why they are so expensive now,their insurance prices are about £150 more expensive tan the likes of churchill etc with the same cover,a year a go they were offering a free pressure washer worth £100,i could have gone with the cheapest company and bought the pressure washer and still saved money,even their value policy is expensive
