Angry E BAY non paying ****

Basicly i have had a car for sale on flea bay over the period of seven days, the item ended on saturday afternoon. It made the reserve and my advert clearly stated cash on collection only, the guy who won (he has 100% feedback) made out like he was busy and would struggle to come up for the car (300 mile round trip), anyway i have had the odd message implieing hes still interested and then tonight he sends one saying, too busy to come up, offer it second chance to the last bidder before him....only trouble is the bid before his just wasnt enough.

Where do i stand on this?, what am i likely to get back via e bay?, will they re-fund my listing fee (about £14)?

As it goes the guy also has a car for sale on a "buy it now"...im sorely tempted to click the buy it now and never pay and **** up his listing!

I really am getting sick and tired of the complete timewasters on e bay, and to make matters worse i cant even leave him any negative feedback WHAT A JOKE!

depends how much hassle you want really. He's entered a binding contract to buy the car, you could take him to court over it. people have done so in the past and won. Most people don't want the hassle though.

I wouldn't get into the tit for tat wrecking each other's auctions, he might just decide to make the 300 miles round trip after all and to be honest it's just not worth it.

My advice would be, forget about it, relist it and hope for the best. This is where eBay's policy of not allowing sellers to leave negative feedback is VERY annoying.

Thanks for the replys guys, i have calmed down significantly now!

Was just so annoyed because we are going to Vegas on sunday and the guy was due to come and take the car and leave me with X amount which would have been great timing and usefull in Vegas to say the least!

Oh well i will go off and enjoy my jollies and get it re-advertised when i come back...

Yeah, it's not so bad when you look at it like this. Just have to accept that there are some ****esters unfortunately. It'll sell next time, and at least you don't have to pay again.

Yeah i thought about that, but he CAN leave me negative feedback and i have 100% and dont want to ruin that.

How twisted is it that you as the seller cant leave negative feedback? E Bay really is annoying at times!
