    Default New Tyres

You all know that saying when a deal is too good to be true it's a con well that's not allways the case .

    2 X 205/55/R16 91V Pirelli P7's £135 fully fitted.

Firs time I've used Event-tyres and fantastic service and what a price, Kwik Fit wanted £135 per tyre can highly recommend this company.

Got their details off here on another thread.

    Cheers Square Box.

Crap, I could have saved myself £30 on my Flaken 912's through them, thats for 215/50/R17 (91W)

I looked at them a long time ago, sadly they don't service Scotland
I got a quote for 225/45R17 Eagle F1 Assym XL and they were £13 more per tyre than blackcircles!

Most people with Vectra's and Signum's can't wait to get shot of the NCT5's in favour of decent tyres . You must be one of the very few people that think they're ok?

The ones ebay have are usually from traders or recycling centres
The majority are returns with at least some wear
There may be new ones, but I would check the batch code as they may be "old"

Did the tyres have the labels still on them?

However, £75 is the average price for a NCT5 215/50R17 95W XL on the grey market
As above, most of these are returns where the history is not known

Yup my personal opinion is that the NCT 5's are crap.

The grip in the wet with the 150 SRI is shocking to say the least.
Having changed to the falkens grip is superb, with a weightier feel in the corners, providing excellent feedback, as well as better braking with the extra grip
