    i just got a meguires clay bar not used it yet are thay any good??

    Yes mate, there perfect if you bought the kit as it comes with its own lube. Once you get into it its cheaper to buy a gallon of Last Touch and buy larger bars of clay like BH or as Lump mentioned the Poly clay from Autobrite

    Just did mine yesterday. It's dead easy - I had the kit with the quik detailer stuff which is really a must. Certainly got the paintwork nice and smooth and seemed to take off heaps of gunge. Washed the car before and after and then put on a layer of AG special resin polish and a layer of collinite 915. I'll do another layer of the collinite tonight and that'll have to do for the winter.

    I just used to wash and T cut occasionally to get rid of tar and insects. Now I'm turning into a sad old nerd.

    good fun though eh ? give it a quick wipe over with your detailer before you add the next coat of 915

    yea i got the kit.

    it will be the 31st before i get to wash the car as its my first saterday off and its always raining or to cold so ill get in the garage then and am goin to wash it clay it then wash it again then carnuba wax (autosmart) the whole car might then do the wheels lol

    I had to do mine in the garage too because it was raining buckets. Pain in the neck with only a couple of feet on either side. So the car will be gleaming on the 1st then?
