    Have a vectra c sri 150 cdti what is the torque value some web sites state 250 some 320 what is right

    Depends if they are stating it in lb/ft or nm

    250lb/ft
    320nm

    Both the same thing

    dont know how lbf is calculated.. but the 2.2 direct has 220 nm

    The 1.9 150 diesel's standard torque figure is 236lb/ft. Many actually produce a little higher, but 236lb/ft is the standard.

    It is indeed 320 Nm for the CDTI
    To convert Nm to lb/ft (pounds per foot): -
    multiply Nm (Newton metres) X 0.7376

    • 320 Nm X 0.7376 = 236 lb/ft


    And just to explain to anyone who doesn't know, Newton metres is the SI units (international system of units), pounds per foot is the old imperial units (British).
    That's all it is. I think only Britain and America use lb/ft.
