Yep,had mine replaced back in January,cambelt kit £70,water pump £25,there is a How2 on here aswell.........
Saves a lot of hassle in the future m8,n 4wot they cost there,s no point in leaving it...
Basically in order to change the water pump you have to remove the cambelt anyway, as it's driven by it. if the bearing in the pump goes you risk trashing the entire engine, so it's a false economy NOT to get them done together...
Not neccesary no but worth doing as a precautionary measure. If the pump fails the belt'll need changing again.

I ahd my cambelt done on my old 1.8 by an independant, but he didnt mention the water pump.
Pump strating rattling about 2 weeks later, as the bearings were obviously seizing up. Had to get it back to him ASAP for him to replce water pump before it screwed up and sent my cambelt flying off.
