Default Dual Exhaust on a 1.8VVTi Question?

    Hi Guys

I have just purchased a Complete VXR rear Bumper with lower spoliers etc however, my problem now is i have a single outlet exhaust on my 1.8VVTi.

If i purchased a 2.0 Turbo or 2.2 DTI dual exhaust outlet 'up to the cat' would it fit and still run fine on my motor without effecting the engine management?

    Your thoughts would be apreciated.

There is a 2.0t exhaust on ebay for 125 quid, or as said the 2.2direct,3.0v6 Cdti and the 3.2 gsi (the two latter may need some fettling)

Cheers Guys much appreciated, I did see the 2.0T one on ebay and have put it in my watch list but did not want to go for it until I was sure it fitted.

By the way 'hands Off, it's mine' if you think the 'Price is right' as URMmmmmm Forgot who did that show says? Answers on a postcard please.

The turbo exhaust would be the closest fit i'd say buddy, I was going to go for it but I may have lined up a VXR system so won't need it.

If all else fails you could get a custom exhaust place to make one up to fit anyway.

    Smartass lol

Yeah 125 is good as long as you e-mail and ask if its in good condition, all the hangers are there no holes etc. They are pretty rare and are expensive from the dealer. Also not the shape of the tailpipes (the slant) These are from the earlier vecs and look better imo as they contour with the bumper

Yep thanks for that i could look in to that but i am on a bit of a budget and its already starting to mount up.

    Rear bumper £90
    Spray Shop £100 ish
    Exhaust £125

I guess the front end is going to take a bit longer before it gets sorted!!
