    Default New Style Key Fob?

Does anyone know if its possible to get the new style key fob to work on an 02 plate car?Pic below is the one I'd like to change the older ones for.

I've two sets of keys but they are starting to look their age/play up abit.

Yes I would say so. Because if you go to a VX dealer that is all they will replace it with now, not like the one you have got. Thing is expect to pay about £60 to £70 for it, that will include programing it. You will need to take your "log sheet" and security card with you.

I looked into doing this several months ago. i got a cost of £170 to purchase new key and get it coded.

I did try and get one off e-bay and get it coded but the keys are not reprogrammable to different cars so don't go down that route.

Is it anywhere near Drayton Manor? I could kill 2 birds with one stone then! I'd get 2 for that price!

Yes. On the old A5 Wilnecote motors it is called. But it would be best to phone for a price first and you will need to visit them Twice as they will need to order it then when it arrives they will need to program it to your motor.
