Default Help! Wheel locking bolt key number...

    Hi,
I've lost my small black box with wheel locking key and key number probably when moving home. Now I need to change brake pads and I am stuck. Went to local garage but they just damaged alloy and nothing. Vauxhall dealer said that replacement keys are available but only can be provided by quoting key number. I have taken my car to show him how it is looks like and nothing again, he said only that they got so many numbers with similar shapes. If You know this key number pls help me...

its gonna be pretty much impossible mate what you might be better off doing as my mate had to do is take your car to a proffesionally alloy wheel refurb and repair shop and they somtimes take a bit more care on getting the locking wheel nut off than these high street tyre places mate just a thought
    cheers dan

    Thanks for your reply,
I can provide any car numbers if this help (chasis, reg, etc, etc)
The pic shows 8 spoke star in the middle and outer ring in its regular shape all way round. Another pic to give You point of view.

As previous said, impossible to tell just from a picture.

Chassis, Car Pass numbers, etc aren't going to help either.

There are tools available that claim to remove locking wheel bolts. A good independent mechanic *may* have some. Also, try someo fhe breakdown companies, RAC, AA, etc.

trust me pal youve no chance of getting any joy from vauxhall, no chance of getting em off your self unless you want to damage your alloys more. I found a tyre garage in doncaster that take nuts off for vaxhall, they charged me £20 a corner and took them 15 mine to get 3 off, and they didnt damage my alloys, as i did getting one off which took me 3 hrs !
