    Default Which headunit

Hi all, i'm looking to purchase a headunit soon because i'm getting fed up with my cdr2005 which is pretty naff (and it has just knacked my amp, due to me botching it have aux outs)

I'm budgeting around £100 for a second hand unit and i'm wanting to keep my display and steering wheel controls.

    any recomendations?

Don't think its possible to keep yer display mate. Steering controls will need an adaptor (40 quid) and you'll need a new facia (obviously)

The sky's the limit with regards to head units, I am personally a big fan of kenwood cd players and have a double din DPX-501U in mine but DO NOT buy one, the displays on them fail guarenteed. I am looking for a 502U (newer and more reliable) and the go for about 100 quid on ebay. They have aux ins, pre-outs and even usb ports

There are two bits to the wheel controls though mate, there is the lead that is for the car and then a head unit specific lead to connect to it
