have you tried pushing the button next to the radio to disarm the internal sensors in case its them?
I bet you have an estate? If so the glass breakage wire that runs around the boot glass will have been damaged mate, its quite common on the estate.
If there was, it would make a thieves job that much easier.
If you don't want to set the alarm until you've got someone to take a look at it, lock the doors manually via reaching in though the passenger door or rear door and pressing the lock button on the door panel. I should point out that the deadlocks won't be set though.
I take it the LED on the dash is flashing up there is a fault? If so, then the easiest solution would be to get the fault code read out.
I am glad nobody has said anything on the forum...
Who knows what scrotes are reading this looking for tips...and a fast T.W.O.K. or fast buck!!
i was going through my manual this morning & noticed theres a fuse in the boot for the alarm. i maybe wrong but it might shut up the alarm if you take it out
Thanks Monty - I'll dig the book out when I get home. Currenlty resorting to using the key
You can Tech 2 it out of commission all together if you want
I have the same issue (although not seen it for a while now) and I simply unplugged the siren, so all the lights flash but no noise.
I believe newer Vectras revert to using the horn if the siren is unplugged, but mine doesn't.
Since I've now told you this, I DON'T drive a blue Vectra in Stevenage......honest
