Time to say goodbye.....

Hi All.
The vectra goes tomorrow....Its been a great car but its time to move on.
Ive been out and got myself a Lancer Evo 8,
And looking back on some previous threads regarding non Vectra c owners
I think its time to go.
I must say its been a pleasure to get to know most of you and I hope the site goes from strength to strength.

Shame to see the Veccy go but can't argue with the choice of replacement.

Just have to get used to visiting the petrol pumps rather more frequently - I ran an Evo 5 and then a 6 for two years so know from experience.

I'm sure the vast majority of members would only be too happy for you to keep popping in to say hello and it would be nice to see some pics of the new tarmac ripping beast. Hope to see meet you at PVS to say hello.

Shame on the Vectra but totally understand on the Evo 8! I used to have an Evo 7 Import and it was immensely good fun. Though I personally hated the dash clocks!!!

Oh, im jealous!!! I considered an Evo8 recently but was put off by the fear of getting car jacked up here.

As for the forum, the admin stance, shared by the vast majority of members is that you will be still be welcome to pop over for a chat with old friends etc and as the mod team have a ‘delete post button’ that’s how it will be

It was MLC who put me the most lol. With his stories of crooks smashing down the front door of house in a stolen car, just to get the keys to the guys Evo, plus a few other quotes.
