Default More problems with the sterio

Hi guys, i got the sterio today, managed to get the cage and everything out and the facia etc back in.
but the connectors on the pioneer are differant to the one on the car, the only thing is these connectors with the sterio are supposed to work with the controles etc aswell.
and someone on here told me what ariel adapter to get, but its the wrong ****** one!
    So Queston is:

what wiring harness will i get? because i dont want the one that will replace all the wiring that i already have etc.
    any suggestions?

It may be that the power and ignition cables are the wrong way round (you get this with some stereos/wiring looms.

The loom may have the red wire and yellow wire that you can disconnect half way up, and swap them over, so it goes red/yellow and yellow/red if that makes sense.

i had a red wire just sitting on the harness so i connected that to the yellow aswell and that brought it to life.
