Default YOU take your monaro to a garage to have a water leak fixed

... but you 'forgot' to tell them that you left your www.roadhawk.co.uk plugged in recording.
You then get home to find http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E66BDZ0PShM recorded on the road hawk

If you can't be arsed to read the thread, the police saw the you tube vid and tracked the monaro owner down for the original copy of the footage

Not the sort of thing you expect when you leave your motor in the "trust" of a garage "eh".

Digusting. Another example of how people lack respect for property that doesn't belong to them these days. Anyway... busted! Glad they got caught in the act & I hope they got a prison term, or will do soon.

Took my car for a 4-wheel alignment one day, dropped it off with them, they said come back in an hour. In the meantime I take the dog for a walk.

40 mins later, I see my car getting nailed up the road...

They absolutely assured me that my car hadnt been ragged up the road, and although a short test drive was needed (apparently) they were stuck in traffic which accounts for the low MPG ??

Couldnt prove it either way, so had to accept their answer

EDIT: Although they played a 'defensive' role throughout, rather than getting annoyed at my accusations (if you know what I mean)

I use a different branch of the same dealers now, always book the car in late in the day and stay with it !!

I wait whilst the work is being done now and since... no problems

I'm NOT defending any garages cos I know what cowboys they can be, but if I had to "test drive" a Monaro round the block I'd give it some . Although 125mph is taking the mick, even if it's just the risk of losing your licence!

I've got a sports bike as well and do wonder how they treat it on test rides after services etc...
